Tequila lovers have every reason to raise a glass this spring as Miami becomes the hub for Tequila Town, a first-of-its-kind immersive experience celebrating Mexico’s most iconic spirit through culture, flavor, and storytelling.

From April 2 to May 5, Tequila Town Miami will transform the way people experience tequila, agave culture, art, and Mexican heritage. This one-of-a-kind immersive experience is the first in the world to explore the entire lifecycle of the agave plant while honoring the craftsmanship, traditions, and communities behind Mexico’s most iconic spirit.

More than a tasting event, more than a pop-up, and far beyond a typical festival, Tequila Town is a multi-sensory journey into the heart of agave culture. Guests are transported to the birthplace of tequila in the valley region of Jalisco, Mexico, while also feeling the vibrant creative energy of Miami. Through a blend of art, architecture, music, ritual, and storytelling, the experience reveals tequila as more than a drink and as a symbol of heritage, artistry, and connection.

Spanning 25,000 square feet and featuring more than 10 immersive rooms, Tequila Town unfolds like a cinematic adventure. Each space represents a chapter in the story of agave, with scents, sounds, visuals, and tastings that guide visitors through centuries of tradition.

Inside Tequila Town, guests don’t just observe the world of tequila; they step into it. From multisensory landscapes inspired by Jalisco to ceremonial blessings honoring the agave plant, every detail celebrates the rituals and roots of tequila culture. Visitors journey through the tequila-making process, discovering how generations of patience, craftsmanship, and knowledge shaped the spirit enjoyed around the world today.

Along the way, the experience pays tribute to legendary tequila houses that built the industry’s foundation. Guests will encounter a re-creation of La Rojeña, the oldest tequila distillery in the world and the birthplace of José Cuervo, which began producing tequila more than 250 years ago. The journey continues through the story of Lázaro Gallardo, the first tequila master distiller and founder of Centenario Tequila, before arriving at the Cristalino Cantina, where Dobel Tequila—the pioneer of the Cristalino style—offers a glimpse into tequila’s future.

Beyond the spirits themselves, Tequila Town highlights a shared commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and the communities that cultivate agave across Mexico. The experience includes live performances, culinary pop-ups, and a marketplace featuring Mexican artisans, along with dozens of visually striking installations designed to celebrate culture, craftsmanship, and creativity.

At Tequila Town, the philosophy is simple: Drink to Remember.

The project is a collaboration between cultural innovators, artists, and sustainability advocates who believe immersive experiences should both inspire and educate. Led by Danish Khan, Montana Masback, Taimur Khan, Danie Gomez-Ortigoz, Lou Bank, and Avra Jain, the team blends storytelling, technology, and tradition to create what they describe as a “phygital” experience, where digital elements enhance emotion rather than replace it.

At its core, Tequila Town is about more than entertainment. It’s about education, cultural preservation, and celebrating the legacy of the agave plant, an agricultural and spiritual cornerstone that has shaped Mexican communities for centuries.

From legendary tequila houses like Cuervo, 1800 Tequila, Reserva de la Familia, and Centenario Tequila to modern innovators such as El Tequileno, G4 Tequila, Volcán Tequila, and Dobel, Tequila Town brings together both historic pioneers and emerging brands shaping the future of the industry.
