Harlem’s New Rooftop R&B Series Amplifies Culture and Vibes

Just in time for summer in the city that never sleeps, a new rooftop R&B series is launching in Harlem on June 5, bringing a more intentional, culture-forward energy to New York City nightlife.

Taking place every Friday at the Victoria Theater on the historic 125th Street, Above 125 R&B Rooftop Series, presented by Indulge, blends era-inspired R&B — from neo-soul to ‘90s and 2000s classics — into a curated summer experience centered around music, food, and community. Elevated high above 125th Street, the LLX-organized rooftop series invites guests to immerse themselves in a culture-rich atmosphere they never knew they needed.

Each night is intentionally curated as a love letter to Black music culture, where the crowd knows the music, the energy feels authentic, and the experience is rooted in both sound and community. From D’Angelo’s “Brown Sugar” to Keyshia Cole’s “Love,” the series delivers a nostalgic soundtrack that goes beyond listening, creating moments where guests know every lyric by heart.

Set atop one of Harlem’s most vibrant rooftops, the experience blends immersive DJ sets with an elevated food and beverage program designed to match the energy of the night. Guests can expect curated bites, signature cocktails, a VIP buffet experience, and a lively atmosphere where nightlife meets cultural storytelling.
